I personally have had life changing results with chiropractic. I know the important role neurological corrective care has in any family’s health and well-being.
What is life’s most valuable asset?
Let me give you a hint, it is not your house or your new car…. it’s your HEALTH. If a person doesn’t have health, they might not be able to work, and may incur debt, while seeking out solutions to their health problems. They may not be able to enjoy picking up their children and may never get the chance to meet their own grandchildren. A big part of Atlas Family Chiropractic’s mission is to serve families with chiropractic excellence, giving hope to overcome one’s current health condition and raising healthy families by the most natural ways possible.
If HEALTH is life’s most valuable asset, what is health?
The most common answer is “feeling good”, most of us grow up with this exact belief system, which it is nice to feel good but is not an indication of health. The World Health Organization defines health as “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” So, health is not just” merely absence of disease”. Health is not just “feeling good”. The dictionary defines health as, “A state of well-being or balance, often physical but sometimes also mental and social; the overall level of function of an organism from the cellular (micro) level to the social (macro) level.”
The key to this definition is “function”. Where does function come from? All human function comes from your nervous system. Nerve function without interference equals proper healing can occur giving way to better health.
Gray’s Anatomy states on page four that the central nervous system controls and coordinates the function of all the other body systems including the reproductive system, digestive system, respiratory system, cardiovascular system and very importantly the immune system just to name a few. Therefore, your CNS is your master system. You replace worn out cells with brand new cells every day, and you don’t even have to think about it. It is all organized by your own in born intelligence (innate intelligence) via the nervous system. With interference to your nervous system at the level of your spine, the new cells lose function and become unhealthy.
Chiropractic care is the practice of using spinal adjustments to alleviate a wide variety of physical issues, including migraines and headaches, muscle strain, neck pain, chronic back pain, carpal tunnel pain, and more.
This is accomplished by removing spinal restrictions and mis-alignments by adjusting the spinal column to its proper position and function, providing a non-invasive solution for pain relief and optimal function.
Those with a Chiropractor for PCP (primary care physician) had:
*60% less hospital admissions
*62% less surgeries
*59% less days in hospital
*85% fewer pharmaceutical costs
Chiropractic does NOT treat or cure conditions or disease.
Chiropractic has one objective: To detect, analyze and correct subluxations.
I had issues with my neck and could not turn my head to the left. I also had panic attacks which I had no idea chiropractic could help. Dr. Glen explained removing nerve interference would allow my body and brain to function better. Try it, listen to your body and it will let you know how it will be working for you. I now have full motion in my neck. Mary
Dr. Glen’s chiro care should be a requirement for prevention of conditions. Getting regular adjustments has made a world of difference. First the headaches went away, then my back has gotten much better and I continue with treatments to prevent these headaches and pain. It feels better to have an adjustment rather than to take pain medication to cover the symptom but never address the cause. You can gain better results with adjustments. Tina T
